Saturday Morning Report

Jason and I had a good visit with the kids lastnight. It was bath night lastnight. Jenna had her bath first. It was right before her feed so she was a bit fussy until she got in the water. She seemed to relax while in the warm water. Once it was over she had worked up quite the appetite. She took a full 110 CCs! She tipped the scales lastnight at 7 pounds 9 ounces. She had a good "quiet wake" time after her meal. Her eyes were open wide and she was pretty alert. Her eyes are really very pretty, a bright blue. Her hair is finally coming back in real well. It is growing back in dark.

Blake enjoyed his bath as well. Daddy gave him his while I rocked Jenna. He tried to stand up at one time so daddy took that opportunity to give him a good back scrub. Blake is doing well on his Q feeds (every three to four hours) and is taking more at each feed. He weighed in at 7 pounds 6 ounces.

We spoke to Dr. Kansas lastnight about the kids' progress. We are waiting for Blake to have a few days of consistent weight gain before scheduling his sleep study. With Jenna, we are waiting for her lungs to strengthen a bit more. The plan is to remove her from cannula today. Hopefully her Theophlin meds will have regulated that issue for her. The earliest we are looking for discharge as of now is the end of next week. We are praying that the last of the "fine tuning" will take place in the next day or two so we can plan discharge and bring them home with us. We are so very thankful for their good health and continued growth. They look wonderfully plump.

New pics will be posted later today.
